  Very nice baristas, but the place has too many college kids to possibly keep up with cleaning. Tables were sticky, floors were dirty, music was too loud for studying. Not my first choice for Biggbys.

  BOYCOTT.
  Biggby at 500 E Michigan needs to be sent a message.
  The twerp of a manager has decided to throw out
  -paying- customers if they stay at the Rescue Mission.
  Not for loitering, not for being problematic- for staying at the Rescue Mission.
  This sorry excuse of a human being manager approached me when I had just sat down with a purchase and asked if I stayed at the Mission.
  I told him I did just to see how he would act.
  He became rude, insulting, and told me- a paying customer- to leave.
  
  Boycott them. There are two other Biggby's and a Starbucks within a few blocks. And they know how to treat their -paying- customers.

  Basically a homeless shelter with a coffee shop in it. They don't patrol the tables and ignore when people camp out for hours rolling cigarettes and other nonsense without paying for the right to sit there. Paying customers get lousy tables while homeless people literally pile all their belongings on a table to claim it and then spend most of their time outside smoking. ETA, the company's locations all seem to have special rules for bums. I won't be wasting money at Biggby anymore. I'll just buy an espresso machine.

  Usually it's just hit or miss. Don't use the drive thru always takes more than 15 min even for a single coffee.
